I've been saddened by not being able to play in a WBCOOP event yet. I should have realized -- I work a 9 to 5, on a good day, and have an hour and a half commute. But when they put it in military time it seems so much later in the day.... So, I've been sitting here looking forward to Saturday's final* event, when the phone rings.

It's my mom, who lives in Texas, wondering what I'm doing on Saturday. So I have to explain what a freeroll is....

Oh, she's going to have a layover at Logan for 5 hours on her way to Italy (first I've heard of this, didn't she just get back from Puerto Vallarta?), from noon to five.

I told her that I'd have to catch her on the way back, lol. This is a sure sign I'm going to get stacked the first hand, am I right? :-\

*Update: oops, I read the calendar wrong. I actually blew off my mom for a prelim. I'm such a degen. Sorry mom!!
