ReplyDeleteI remember seeing this type of thing many times in the Double or Nothing SnGs which were similar to satellites in that everyone that won finished 1st.
ReplyDeleteThe times this came up is when on the bubble 3 players were all in with three different chip stacks and the largest stack won the pot knocking out both of the shorter stacks.
But, of the two shorter stacks, the player that started the hand with the most chips wins the prize. For some reason though they didn't get marked as finishing 1st though.
Yeah, that is indeed what happened here. I just thought it was amusing. ;-)
